Castillo's Custom Upholstery

Restoring, Rejuvenating, and Revisioning Furniture one piece at a time

Every piece is brought back to life with precision, patience and quality materials.

A Brief History of Castillo's Custom Upholstery

Castillo's Upholstery was established on Queen Anne in the early-1980s by Mr. Castillo. For three decades, locals watched him sit at his sewing machine in the window and waving at passersby. In 2014, a third-generation Upholstery family took up the mantle. Their lead upholsterer, Justin Dazey, has now taken over as owner, designer, and upholsterer, bringing the showroom back to a busy workroom. You might see him working in the window and waving at passersby.

Justin is a collector at heart, He collects history, chairs, and curiosities. He firmly believes every piece has a story to tell, and loves bringing old items back to life through patient and accurate restoration.
